Cancellation Policy
During certain times of the year I get very busy, I recommend reserving your dates as early as possible. I understand that things come up and from time to time and people have to reschedule or cancel. If you let me know that you are unable to make a scheduled date as early as possible I can usually fill the date and will send your deposit back, or per your instruction, hold it for a rescheduled date and look forward to when we can fish together. If you call me a few days before I will probably not be able to fill the day and will keep the deposit. My policy is that I will work with you as much as I can but the deposit is there to show good faith and in return I do not book the date with another party.
Alternates
If I’m not available on the day you would like to fish I would recommend the following guides:
tampaflyguides.com
captruss.com
Capt. Russ Shirly of Salty Fly Charters is a great fisherman and guide and friend.
Bad weather days
There are very few days that we can not fish, although we may not be able to fish for your preferred species. However, if you are scheduled on one of those days we will first try to reschedule and if that isn’t possible I’ll be happy to return your deposit.
All deposits are held in a non-interest bearing saving account.
A full day is a minimum of 8 hours.
When targeting a specific species the time of day and tides are crucial to our success. Booking a full day trip will allow us to assure that we are on the water during the most productive times. Please let me know before departing if there is a time you need to be back at the dock.
Testimonials
Anyone who is interested in hiring a professional guide to fish in Tampa Bay needs to retain Capt. David Dant. I have fished with Dave on several occasions and have always caught fish. He caught myself and and my son our first Tarpon, Red fish and Snook and has helped my son become passionate about fishing. His ability to inform us on how to fish properly while being patient has always made us feel comfortable and makes the trip very enjoyable.

Capt. Dave Dant is the real Deal. He is one of the best Fly Fishing Guides in Tampa Bay and I do not hesitate to recommend him when people ask about guides.
